About the Opportunity

Yalumba has an opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join their team based in Angaston, Barossa, on a part-time basis.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll work as part of a small team and be responsible for providing full administrative support to the global payroll function for the Samuel Smith & Son group, which encompasses Yalumba and Negociants.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing fortnightly payrolls for the Samuel Smith & Son group nationally and internationally;
  • Managing employee queries regarding payroll; and
  • Providing full administrative support to the payroll function including data entry and maintenance.

Yalumba is seeking a candidate with demonstrated prior experience in administration, You’ll have exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in this high volume position.  Previous payroll experience will be viewed favourably.

Well-developed time management and organisational skills will see you managing competing priorities to meet tight deadlines, ensuring quality is maintained. Strong computer literacy, with the ability to use basic programs within the Microsoft Office Suite, is a key requirement of this position.
